Milos Beach: Secluded Beauty and Pristine Shoreline
Milos Beach can be reached by boat or by hiking through a short forest trail. If you are searching for the best instagrammable places in Lefkada, then definitely you should choose the forest trail. The hike is relatively short (about 15 minutes), easy and I may say relaxing.
You will know when you arrive at your destination, because you are going to face this gorgeous overview over Milos Beach. From that point there is a path that goes down until it reaches the beach. But that spot uphill, before the trail is going down, is one of the best instagrammable places in Lefkada. Porto Katsiki Beach: Capturing unique beauty
White cliffs, lush vegetation, and deep blue waters make Porto Katsiki look like a living masterpiece. The beach itself has a lot of spots that offer the best photo scenery, but if I have to choose the spot with the most instagrammable potential, then it must be the small peninsula that is close to the parking area. When I visited in 2021, the road that crossed the peninsula was closed due to some damage done by natural causes, but there is a small area where you can take advantage of the stunning view. Be careful and don’t put yourself in danger just for a couple of photos.
Egremni Beach: Spectacular views from above
Pure white pebbles, blue crystal-clear waters, impressive mountains and an endless sea will await you on Egremni beach. Similar to many beaches in Lefkada, you can reach Egremni Beach by foot or by boat.
However if you want to take advantage of the best instagrammable places in Lefkada, then you should try to go by foot. It is a difficult journey, because there are approx. 300 stairs that you will need to go down, and after, come up.
Even if the road may seem challenging, you are going to forget about the whole ordeal when you start to go down the stairs and have glimpses of the stunning view that Egremni Beach is offering. Have your camera ready, because you are going to have a lot of opportunities to do a photo shoot while going down the stairs. Once you set foot on Egremni beach, take your time and take in all the glory and landscapes that this place offers.
Gialos Beach: Tranquil paradise among Lefkada's scenery
Gialos Beach may seem like an ordinary beach, with sunbeds and umbrellas, but if you walk around you are going to find great instagrammable spots along the shore. We found a huge rock and took advantage of the fact that there weren’t any people around and played with our camera.
Secluded Beaches: Hidden Paradises for Intimate Escapes
Do you want to know a secret? If you are looking for the best instagrammable places in Lefkada, then look around for hidden and secluded beaches (ask your host or locals about them). Chances are these places are deserted and you can experience the unique feeling of having a beach all to yourself.
Lakka Beach: Hidden blue paradise
This is a beautiful secluded beach that we found by mistake while exploring the islands close to Lefkada. We rented a boat and started to sail in search of forgotten beaches. You can find more details in this article I wrote about our Lefkada itinerary.
Secluded Beach close to Ammousa Beach
This is a small secluded beach located near Ammousa Beach (you can find the exact location and other details in this article here). This forgotten beach is very close to Ammousa Restaurant, a place with amazing and delicious recipes. That being said, the small secluded beach is so picturesque and perfect for an intimate afternoon. You can swim, take lots of photos and relax close to the rocks, so you can escape the sun.

Enchanting Waterfalls and exciting hikes: Hidden Gems in Lefkada
Nidri Waterfall: Perfect place for nature lovers
If you love nature as much as I do and if you are hunting for those green landscapes filled with forest paths, rocky surroundings and beautiful waterfalls, then you need to add Nidri Waterfall to your travel list.
Up until you arrive at your destination, which is the Nidri Waterfall, you are going to find many instagrammable places along the way. The hike is very easy to do (and by easy, I mean kid level) and it’s short, so there is no need in rushing it. Remember, it’s all about the journey, not the destination (look at me being poetic). Well, in this case it’s also about the destination, but what I’m trying to say is that if you look closely you are going to find perfect photo spots during the hike.

Now that I made sure I promoted all my Lefkada articles (hihi, self promotion is my superpower), let’s get back on track. The Lighthouse of Cape Lefkada is one of the most impressive instagrammable places. If you are also looking for glorious sunsets moments, then this location should be a must on your travel itinerary. The view consists of a wild landscape and a mysterious lighthouse that for sure was haunted, because let’s be real, all lighthouses are haunted, right?! There are a lot of beautiful angles you should take advantage of.

From the first moment I stepped in Amente, I fell in love with the atmosphere. This place enchanted me with an infinity sunset view effect. Not to mention that the food was delicious (I included a lot of photos with the dishes that we tried, in this article, with top restaurants in Lefkada. Check them out, here). The jazz music, the sunset colors and the food make this place a gem that needs to be included on your itinerary.
Spoiler alert: the place is a little expensive (more so than your classical tavernas), but if you don’t want to miss out on those unforgettable views, then you can opt for having a drink at the bar.

Dreamy Accommodation for Instagram-Worthy Stays
Drakatos Villas
If you are looking for a luxurious experience, then don’t worry because Lefkada is packed with a lot of gorgeous accommodation, most of them located uphill and offering memorable views.
We stayed at Drakatos Villas and I’m going to let the picture speak for themselves. We loved it so much here, that we chose to spend a day just relaxing at the pool instead of going to the beach.
Here are some details about our accommodation:
- It was located uphill in Vasiliki and very close to the village;
- the villa was ideal for 2 couples having 2 bedrooms, one living room, one kitchen, a terrace, a private pool (the bathrooms were a little too small, but we managed);
- the view from our rooms and the pool was gorgeous (I could stay there for hours with my coffee and thoughts);
- the kitchen had a coffee machine and was furnished with everything we needed;
- we had separate clean towels for the pool in each room.
Of course, we took as many photos as possible and I think you can understand why I consider it one of the best instagrammable places in Lefkada.
